Doveton Matric National Cadet Corps
N.C.C. programme is held on Fridays. Parents who want their pupils to be benefited from the N.C.C. training must co-operate with the N.C.C. master by sending them to all the N.C.C. activities.

Doveton Matric Guides
The guides programme is held on Wednesdays. This is compulsory for girls from Std. VI to XII. It comprises various subjects covering practical life situations to instill in the individual self-confidence, independence and creative living.
Road Safety Patrol
The aim of the Road Safety Patrol is to instill road sense through the cadets, ensure smooth flow of traffic, avoid accidents and civilized use of the road. With this aim in view, camps and other traffic activities are conducted, both for girls and boys.

Doveton Matric School Band
The school band adds to the multi-faceted cultural training offered by the school. Interested individuals may register their names for enrollment in this programme.
Apart from these, various other clubs covering Athletics and Games have been started for the benefit of the students who are sports inclined and wish to develop and improve their skills. These clubs are for improvement of Cricket, Volley ball, Basket ball, Foot ball, Hockey, Badminton and Base ball, Indoor Games comprise Table Tennis, Chess and Caroms.
House System
The students are divided into three Houses for the purpose of competition in Games, Sports, Culturals and Academic activities. The Houses are Doveton, Carstairs and Oakley. Their colours being Blue, Green and Orange, respectively.

The Library is open to all students in order to encourage and develop the habit of reading. Students are allowed to take home books of their interest for a period of one week.

The use of the laboratory is restricted to the senior classes only. Students will be held responsible for any damage caused to the apparatus/ equipments.
